FAQ

The extension is not working on a specific website. What should I do?
Some websites use custom video players or techniques that may not be detected by the extension. If you encounter a site where the extension does not work, please send the website URL and a description of the issue to our developer email: thetoolsdev@gmail.com. We will investigate and improve compatibility as soon as possible.
How do I allow autoplay on a specific website?
Open the extension popup, set the filter mode to Blacklist, and add the website domain to the domain list. Videos on that site will play normally. Alternatively, use Whitelist mode to only block videos on listed sites.
Why does the overlay still appear after I click play?
If the website tries to restart autoplay after you click, the extension will block it again. Try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, please report it to thetoolsdev@gmail.com.
The extension is not working in Incognito mode. Why?
You need to go to chrome://extensions, find "Disable auto play videos", click Details, and enable Allow in Incognito.
The extension stopped working after a Chrome update. What should I do?
Go to chrome://extensions and click the refresh button on the extension card. If the issue persists, try removing and reinstalling the extension.
How do I block only large videos and ignore small ones?
Enable Size Filter in the popup, then set the minimum width and height in pixels. Only videos larger than both values will have autoplay blocked.
Does this extension work on YouTube?
Yes. The extension is specifically designed to handle YouTube's video player, including its dynamic content loading and SPA navigation.
